I drop this to ask a favour of you—it is this: In the month of August 1847 an address of mine delivered at canandaigua, was published in the National Anti Slavery Standard--(I cannot tell you the number--) but you will find it in the "Standard" of that month--the address in question I wish to obtain—and I hope there is nothing existing between us, to prevent you from putting me in possession of it—or to prevent me from being quite thankful to you for the favour.
