For Frederick Douglass' Paper.

NEW YORK CENTRAL COLLEGE.

MR. F. DOUGLASS:—I am instructed by the Board of Trustees of New York Central College, to acknowledge, through the columns of your paper, the receipt, the past winter, of a bequest of One Thousand Dollars, for the benefit of said College, from the late WILLIAM A. TWEED DALE, of Albany, N. Y. This bequest was very timely. May many others "go and do likewise." Eighteen such gifts would clear the College from debt. But smaller sums are likewise very thankfully received. The Fall term of the College will commence on the 4th day of September next. Papers which are favorable to the anti-slavery cause, for which this College was more especially instituted, are respectfully requested to copy.
