Dear Sir
I have carefully examined the enclosed & found that the deed is all right—It is conscious that our present Govr of Md Shd have had a hand in it.
I think he will have an opportunity to put his hand to a [show?] of emancipation to all
the Slaves, in Md upon his term of office expires & I think also he will do it very cordially—
