Frederick Douglass to Mr. Miles, October 20, 1868
Rochester: Oct. 20, 1868.
My Dear Mr. Miles:
I am obliged by your favor and your kind offer of hospitality. I shall probably stop as usual with my old friend Loguen—and may be found there on the day of my lecture. The subject of my lecture will be "William the Silent"—This is a new lecture and is to be delivered in the Bay State Course at Boston, two weeks before I come to you. Please remember me kindly to Mrs. Miles—
Yours Respectfully
Fred.k Douglass
