I enclose herewith an article from today's "Washn National Intelligencer" It shows to me why W. H. Day has been pitching into Jno. M. Langston so fiercely, & charging him with soliciting the appointment of Commr. of this Bureau.
You will notice that W. H. Day's name heads the list for the Prest. consideration.
