Frederick Douglass Richard D. Webb, March 2, 1846
Aberdeen 2d.
March—1846
My Dear Friend. I shall be in Glasgow on on the fourteenth—and shall remain there and in its vicinity several days—You will do me a kindness—by sending all the books you have ready to that Place, unless you have more than five hundred. I think you had better not bind up more than one thousand now as I doubt very much whither I can get rid-of more the coming six months they go very slow. My first meeting in this place will take place this evening—we shall probably hold three here—and from here return to Montrose—hold one more meeting there, touch at Dundee—hold a meeting—at Perth and hold another meeting—and from
there return to Glasgow.
My kind regards as to Mrs. Webb. in haste
truly yours
