Toronto, July 14, 1848.

Mr. Editor. Sir:—Last evening, at a regular monthly and quarterly meeting of the British American Anti-Slavery Society, it was resolved that any person or persons going from Canada to the United States, or elsewhere, on a mission to beg money, except they have authority from some denomination or from the British American Anti-Slavery Society, the public should be aware of them. I am authorized by the Society to forward this to you for publication, and desire you to request other papers to publish the same.
