Dear Sir; —
Geo. W. RiggsRiggs, George W.
Esq. who holds a deed of Trust from B. F. GilbertGilbert, B. F.
& wife for deferred payments on Lots in Square 150 has directed me to foreclose the deed of Trust for the purpose of collecting the amount due him, and he stated to me that he understood you had purchased a portion of said property and he was desirous of securing to you the houses you had purchased and would release the ground upon which they stand upon the payment of Two Thousand dollars to him if done by the end of this week. If you are not prepared to pay the cash I have a party who will loan the money and as the sale of the property would involve you in a serious loss it would be well to accept the offer made by Mr. Riggs. Respectfully Yours
